This course introduces researchers and data professionals to key tools and methodologies for semantic annotation and data analysis, with a strong emphasis on the FAIR principles—Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability. Participants will explore how semantic technologies (such as ontologies, metadata standards, and knowledge graphs) can enhance data discoverability and interoperability, while also gaining hands-on experience with data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights. Through practical sessions and real-world examples, the course empowers learners to manage, enrich, and analyse data in a way that aligns with FAIR and open science best practices
